I was looking at Bruce Nichols Guerrilla warfare book, 1864 time, and saw the headline that I titled this thread. I tried to read what was in the book on Google Books, but it cut me off with "I've reached a page that is unavailable" or I reached my viewing limit.

Can anyone please expand on what's in Bruce's book and any additional info on it. I am moving to that vicinity and would love to find out as much as I can on this.
