I read somewhere that he was from a village in NW Mo near the Iowa border called Hawleyville. There was Mary, his wife, three children and a brother. Blacksmith by trade and the same here when he lived here after the war.

Saw him last week at the cemetery and he just fine.

He was also a Mex War vet.
