I can only help with the "during the war" part for Schuyler County. Schuyler County saw considerable guerrilla warfare during 1862, and it is mentioned in the index of "Guerrilla Warfare in Civil War Missouri, 1862" six times compared to only once in the 1863 volume. We will have to wait for the 1864 book.

Please tell me that the graveyards near Coatsville had nothing to do with the name of that village.
