The only Fellman article I recall seeing was his "Emancipation in Missouri," in "Missouri Historical Review" vol. 83, October 1988. This was just months before his book hit the market. The article does have some demographic statistics in the front about slaveowners and slaves, but nothing about U.S. soldiers and guerrillas. That is probably in the later book.
