I pretty well pinpointed the location of that fight between Capt. Flesher's patrol and Todd's command some time ago.

Go to Yahoo Maps or terraserver-usa.com and enter 5200 Sunset Drive, Kansas City, Mo. The fight occurred in that area, give or take about 100 yards. Sunset Drive follows the route of the ravine mentioned in Capt. Flesher's account in the O.R.
