Re: The Story of Frank James' Courtship

I was always kept in the dark about where I came from. My grandmother's name was Annabelle Ralston and she was married to William Ralston. They were first cousins I am told.
Years after my grandmother died, my brother, Allan Ralston, aka Sammy Ralston, did some research and said my grandmother was married to Frank James.
I was born in 1934 and I am not sure when my grandmother was born or even where. We had a family farm in the country between Hackensack and Backus, Minnesota.
My dad's name was Edward Lloyd Ralston, aka Sam, and he was born 1919 in Minnesota. Do you know anything at all that would help me find out some info if we are related to Frank
My grandson now is named Robert James Bue. Neither his mother or I had a clue that was the name of Frank and Jesse's dad.
Please help me if you can.
Respectfully,
Phyllis Ann Ralston
