Just obtained my copies of Bruce Nichol's books -- they are GREAT!!!!!

I am just starting to fully digest them and compare them to docs in my files. Am PARTICULARLY interested in the action near Salem, AR and the activity in/around Thomasville, Oregon Co. MO.

To wit, one ggg-uncle of mine, Peter O. Simmons - a local physician and member of Fristoe's MO Cavalry - lived near Thomasville. His brothers and inlaws (surname: Bailey) lived just north of Salem, AR near the MO border. They also belonged to Fristoe's MO Cavalry as well.

Am guessing the next book by Bruce will be re 1864 Guerilla activity...??????? Can hardly wait...!!!!
