Is it possible Daniel Monday was a member of Father Hogan's Irish Settlement in eastern Oregon, western Ripley, and southern Carter counties of Missouri on the Arkansas border just north of Pocahantas, Arkansas. The settlement was started around 1856 and the Irish were driven out of the area during the war.
