How were they clothed and equipped? I have no trouble finding information on what arms were carried by this regiment. Were they clothed in standard cavalry uniforms
(sack coats or shell jeackets, etc.)? Were the horse equipments the Model 1859? My ancestor served, 1863-1864, before dying of disease at Springfield. Another relative served in a different company.
