Perhaps I should mention my ancestor was from Florence area in Morgan County. He 18 and a neighbor James S. Vandergriff 20 both enlisted in Co. K at Otterville, and are listed as recruits "Slesing" and "Vandergrave" on 25th ILL rolls.
