I'm not sure exactly where he was captured. He arrived at Alton, Illinois military prison on 28 Oct, 1863. According to what I have researched, he was in Arkansas riding with Marmaduke's Brigade. I'm trying to narrow it down. I believe that I have it narrowed down to the following events:

1) Affair, Cape Girardeau, Mo (April 21-May 2, 1863)
2) Action, Cape Girardeau, Mo (April 25, 1863)
3) Skirmish, Chalk Bluff, Ark (May 1, 1863)
4) Skirmish, Chalk Bluff, Ark (May 2, 1863)
5) Operations against Steele's Expedition against Little Rock (Aug 1-Sept 14, 1863)
6) Engagement, Bayou Fourche, Ark (Sept 10, 1863)
7) Evacuation, Little Rock, Ark (Sept 10, 1863)
8) Retreat towards Arkadelphia, Ark (Sept 11-13, 1863)

Depending on how long it took to transport him to Alton, Illinois could determine where he was captured. The next known event that happened with the company was in November of 1863 in Benton, Ark.
