I am trying to determine if my Thomas Frazier Proctor is the Thomas Proctor listed by Soldiers/Sailors system in Co. C, 3rd Bttn Missouri Inf (CSA).

My Thomas F. Proctor was born 1849 to Moses and Susan Brown Proctor in Missouri, probably McDonald County. After the war he married Louise____ in 1869 and later Anna Haddock.

If you know the history of the 3rd Bttn Missouri Inf (CSA), and that it included men from the SW corner of the state, please advise.
