Mr. Backes,
I wanted to let you know that the investigation of the batlefield was not done last year due to all the rain.
It is scheduled for this Sat. night (April 21, 2007). If you are still interested in letting me borrow the bullets(and attending) that would be great. It will help get impressions. As to preservation efforts, I am filing out paperwork now. It seems there is talk of straightening 2 hwy.
