I've been searching for a long time to find what happened to my ggggrandfather Benjamin Franklin Jones of Arkansas. I was recently told that his widow Nancy Elizabeth Jones filed for a widows pension. I can't get anymore information other than the location looks like MO Cavalry. I see where there was a Benjamin Jones in the 12th MO Cavalry CSA. Could this be him? All I know is he died after 1860 and before 1870......not even sure where.
Can anyone help? There is no list in the Arkansas Confederacy of my Benjamin.
