Re: Arkansas to MO, actually just Arkansas I think

I am very much in debt to you John!
Thanks!
The Benjamin of the 33rd matches every little detail except for the middle initail D. I do beleive this is my ggg grandfather I have been searching for. You have also added to my geneaology research. No one seemed to know Wiley's middle name, until now. Also Harison Thomas Jones year of birth is correct for Benjamins brother.

One more question if you don't mind, what would be the best way to get civil war information on Benjamin that might tell how and where he died? Someone said Nancy filed a widows pension before 1873, but had no other information. Problem is I have no clue where Nancy was living at the time. It possibly could have been Little River county Arkansas.

oops one more! Did the 33rd Arkansas infantry ever serve with the 12th MO. calvary. Could it be possible that Benjamin was discharged from the 33rd and joined (or forced to join) the 12 MO Calvary as they were traveling thru Arkansas? The reason I ask is because the only Nancy E. Jones pension that was married to a Benjamin F. Jones was given to me by an Arkansas researcher. In it she stated that the location was MO. Calvary. I have since lost her e-mail

Thanks again! I greatly appreciate you expertise help!
Anthony
