Ironton MO - info on Clardy's MO Cavalry...???

Hi Walt -

thanks again for your input. Do your Ft. Davidson archives have any material on Clardy's Missouri Cavalry??? The brother-in-law of Wm. Carroll Byrd was a private in that unit.

This bro-in-law, Wm. A. Jackson, is listed in the 1860 Wayne Co. MO census. He lived a few miles SSW of Patterson.

After the war, he returned to the Calloway Co. KY area where his parents lived (New Concord).

thanks again,

Ken Byrd
