That's good research!

These were the kind of soldiers who would without compunction commit acts that if we performed them would cost us sleep the rest of our lives. The miliita had members like that in all parts of the state. Of course, the other side had guys like that, too. There were men who enjoyed killing and there were also men driven to this sort of madness by violence like that done to them and theirs. The kind of research that reaches into such a man's background to find such a cause is really hard to do.
