Re: First Sergeant Wilson Graham - Co I, 6th MO In

I cannot help with Graham's service following his wounding, but I will state that he served as Corporal, Co A (Marble City Guards), 1st Infantry Battalion (AKA 5th Infantry Regiment), 1st Division, Missouri State Guard. He was discharged at New Madrid, MO, in December, 1861, with 6 mos and 6 days service. In all likelihood, he fought at Lucas Bend and Fredericktown during his service with the Guard. The Marble City Guards, organized in the fall of 1860, and accepted into state service in March, 1861, was one of the few uniformed companies that served in the 1st Division. The company was commanded by Capt. Samuel J. Ward.
