Can you help me out with a state of nativity or near birth date> I'm not able to come up with a G W Nichols in Grundy Co. Missouri, I've a couple in the neighborhood with a feloow in Caldwell County which could be a match. A wife's name or even children's names could also help.

Amzingly this is a very common name in the mid 19th century with more than 120 civil war soldiers listed with the name so we are going tohave to work backwards. If you like you can email me your mothers name (maiden and married) and DOB and we may be able to unravel it from her even.
