My ancestors were Aaron Stanton and his brother Samuel W. Stanton. (the offical records show S. L. W. Stanton, I do not know where the L. comes from) It seems that the men were from Natchez or Adams County.

In the library here in Baton Rouge "Confederate Veteran", there is a picture of Aaron when he is Old. Long white beard and sitting with a stern look on his face.
