Re: Vicksburg Ghost Sighting - 1864

My great great grandfather was with the 26th Louisiana Infantry, Co. G. I was at the battlefield, middle of the day, walking near the area where he fought. I had my digital recorder on, was talking to the men, I said, "I'd love to hear from somebody." Then I shut it off, listened to it, after I said that, a whispered voice clear as day, says what I think is "Death." Other people have listened to it and said it sounds like he's saying "Dan" something with a d sound. It sure sounds like death to me. I was totally alone. It is amazing.
