In the updated Dornbusch (bibliography of War for Southern Independence units), I note this entry:

"Muster Rolll, 32nd Mississippi Infantry, C.S.A., compiled by Tommy Lockhart, Ripley, MS, Old Timer Press, 1982 [conjectural date], 224 pp."

This, it would seem, is more than just a simple listing of soldiers.
