Has anyone here ever researched Pension Records for Mississippi Confederate Soldiers. Do all soldiers have these records on file? If so, can you send off for them or do you have to go to Jackson and get them in person? I already have my great granddads service records being sent to me and felt like the pension records would be of equal interest to my family. Are there any other records that are normally kept besides the Service Records and the Pension Records?

His name was Benjamin Lewelling, 2nd MS Partisan Rangers, COF. He served with his brother William Lewelling.
