I had kin in the 18th Miss Cav. Some of the 18th was raised in Calhoun and Yalobusha County, Miss. Per the 1850 census of Yalobusha County (which included Calhoun at the time) has many Moores listed. There were several George Moores, but I don't know if he was yours. Good luck on your search. John
