Re: Dr. Thomas D. Gordon, 3rd Battalion Miss. Infa

Rob,
The history of the 3rd Battn. Miss. Inf. and the 45th Miss. by Williamson has records on these men.

The first person information I have comes from his being mentioned in a letter by his wife, Lydia Elizabeth Herring Gordon to her nephew John Archie Cato of Co E 7th Miss. I have just received the letter and added it to my manuscript of the 7th Miss. regimental history. Contact me by direct email and I will connect you to the Cato family to get permission to receive a copy of the letters where he is mentioned.
my email is rskellie@mindspring.com
I am not at home so I do not have access to my address book. I will return next Sunday Aug. 28th. Will not have email access until I return.
