Louis Coe Mitchell Dew was my GGGgrandfather. He was in the 42nd Mississippi Infantry, but listed as Due. His son, James Dew, was in the 15th Mississippi Infantry and killed by a sniper at Atlanta during the seige. At LMs death, in 1909, a notation in the family bible states he never forgave the yankees for killing his son that way. John
