I have papers showing that my ancestor, W C Donnell [William Carroll Donnell] died in the Kingston Hospital, Kingston, GA on Sept 9, 1863. He is said to be buried in this Cemetery, but so far we have not located his grave. He was a Sergeant in the 28th Consolidated Tennessee Infantry Regiment. There is a listing of his belongings, they knew WHO he was..I can not imagine that they didn't bury him, an OFFICER, in a marked grave??
