Ms. Lynda, I searched Booth's Record of Louisiana Confederate Soldiers, The Louisiana Confederate Pension Database, the NPS CWS&SS as well as a transcription of a newpaper article listing the original members of what became Company K of the 18th Louisiana Infantry and I can find no evidence of a Thomas H. Webb in that unit.

Can you provide us your sources on this man and maybe we can dig a little deeper. Also, you may wish to post this again to the Louisiana and Alabama boards. You may get better results there. Just look for their link on the front page.
