The 1867 lead and statements throughout the article suggest that these Confederate dead are buried in more than one cemetery rather than consolidated in the Confederate Section of Greenwood Cemetery in Jackson.

It also confirms that a Ladies Cemetery Association was organized and at work in Jackson in the this early post war period. Perhaps they were instrumental in consolidating all of the Confederate burials into a single section at Greenwood. If that isn't true, then a list of the other burial sites might be in order, when someone knows the answer.
