This response is a long time after your post, but I do know a bit about the Agnew diaries. I read years ago that there are four complete copies. The only copy in Mississippi is in the Tupelo Public Library. It is many volumes and goes all the way up to around 1900. Wonderful collection. Years ago, I used to travel a lot and when in Tupelo would spend several hours in the evening with "Rev. Agnew." If you have not found out in the meantime, hope this information is helpful.
