I am interested in finding out the details of a December 31, 1862 train accident nr. Edwards, MS. One of the victims of this accident was James Lindsey Andrews, 1834-1862, son of John Girault Andrews and Martha Dawson Lindsey Andrews, and husband of Miss Caroline A. Thomas, 1846-1908. James was a freshman at the University of VA in 1853-54. Apparently the train was on the way to Vicksburg when the accident occurred.
