Two men from 21st Mississippi

George D. Van Horn, a soldier from Swett's Battery writes of having been wounded in the battle of Chickamauga. As of 5 October 1863 he was recuperating in Augusta, Georgia at the home of General Beauregard's brother-in-law, Captain Guyol. Two men from the 21st Mississippi were at the home at the same time, identified as William Moore and "Cloy" [the first two letters of this single name are not clear], both wounded in the leg. This letter is at the Virginia Historical Society in Richmond.
