After a lot of headaches, i have found some info, on my GGGrandfather H.G. Bell, he was a Volunteer in the Civil War in Leake County, Ms. The Problem i am having now is, I have been told by the Library and several confedarate org. that he has a civil war marker on his grave, I have been to his grave several times and there is no marker on his grave. he is buried in the Hickory Grove Cem. in Laurel, Jones Co. Ms. on his headstone they have him as H.C. Bell. can anyone explain this.
