39th Iowa Volunteer Regiment

I am researching a book on a family of Quakers who served in the Civil War. Three of the men were with the 39th Iowa Regiment, stationed at Corinth, Miss. from January 1863 through November 1863. I am particularly interested in Company H of this regiment. They were in action at the Box Farm outside of Corinth in July 1863, when Roddy's Cavalry attacked and took many prisoners. Some of the men disappeared and never made it to prison at Belle Isle, Virginia. It is believed they were executed after the skirmish on July 7, 1863. I am interested in anyone with knowledge of the Box family where the fight took place, in particular Stephen Box, a son who served with Capt. Duncan's Cavalry, which was mustered into service in 1862 in Corinth. I would appreciate any help you might be able to give.
Yours,
