I believe this Daniel W. Yeager may be one of my third great-grandfathers. He was originally from Bibb County, AL but his first born child, my second great-grandmother Marietta, was born in Sep. 1864 in Lauderdale Co., MS.

Two pieces of information that would help is...

1) Is this Daniel W. Yeager's middle name Wayne, and

2) Was Co. C, 41st MS INF raised in or around Lauderdale Co., MS?
