Lee, sounds as if you're looking for the general's brother Capt. Andrew Robison Govan, who died of his Chickamagua wounds. Another brother (George) was a major. They were sons of US Cong. Andrew Robison Govan. Their sister married Christopher Mott, who is in my book "More Generals in Gray". There is a website on the Govan family that will give you more information,findable with a google search.
