I am originally from Mississippi, but I have never heard of Auburn, MS. It may be a small community in Lincoln County. Brookhaven, MS is the largest city in the county. You may contact the Lincoln-Lawrence-Franklin Regional Library or The Daily Leader newspaper, both of which are in Brookhaven and have web sites. Just search under Brookhaven, MS. for their addresses. Copiah-Lincoln Community College is located in Wesson, MS and the library there may also be of some help.
