Re: Stephen Decatur Pool Burial Site

Are you a relative?
I am the great great grandson of Stephen Decatur Pool.
He died about 1902 in New Orleans but is buried in the Osyka Cementary. In the fall of 2002 I placed a marker on his grave site with his birth and death dates. At this time I also placed a head stone on the graves of his wife, Caroline Sydney and one of his daughters Mary Pool Richie. They are buried next the Chauvin site (it is well marked). These sites are about in the center of the cementary but up next to the Highway.
If you have any family information on the Pool family I'd like to hear from you.

Sam Alleman
P. S.
There is another Pool buried close by, John Lockwood Pool another of his sons.
