Curtis D Grady, my wife's great grandfather, was a teenage private in:

1st MS Infantry Company I "Kemper Blues"
35th MS Regiment Company A "Barry's Guards"

Although far away in England, we have been able to obtain copies of his soldiers papers from NARA and copies of the unofficial muster lists of the "35th A" (on line on the Kemper Co site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~mskemper/military/index.htm )

It seems that the original muster lists have long disappeared. If anyone knows otherwise, or is aware of any other documents, photos, stories etc concerning these two regiments (the first of which was of course short-lived) I would be glad to hear either throught the forum or direct.
