Mar. 1862 he is in Tusacumbia, AL.
Apr. 1862 Monterey, TN.
May 29, 1862 he is located just outside Corinth, MS.
Sept. 12, 1862 Glasgon, KY.
Sept. 13, 1862 Cave City KY.
Sept. 14, Munfordville, KY.wounded and hospitalized and later taken prisoner.
Feb. 1, 1863 Sent to City Point, VA .
Feb. 11, 1863 At Ft. McHenry, MD., sent to Ft. Monroe, GA. for prisoner exchange.
May 8 1863 Attached to hospital at Rome, GA. as patient then as cook and nurse. This is the year he married Emelizia Woodall at Rome, Floyd Co. GA.
Feb. 29 1864 Furloughed for 30 days.
