Trying to find great- great grandfather from Winston county Mississippi; died 1867. Records says he was a member of the fifth infantry. Name-A.T. Humphries or Amos Humphries.Can't seem to find anything. Even tried here in Atlanta at archives all i found was just that he was in 5th.. Family records says he fought at Vicksburg.Thanks for you help.
