Man, are Jim Martin's War for Southern Independence websites great or what? A descendant of Capt. Merriman Pound of Co. H/43rd MS Infantry contacted me recently and asked if I knew where the good captain is buried. I couldn't answer the gentleman's questions, so I am turning to this wonderful board for help! Capt. Pound died in Lee County, MS, ca. 1891 and may be buried with/near his beloved wife, Sally. Any leads or info much appreciated by both me and his proud descendant!
