Capt. Merriman Pound's gravesite

Man, are Jim Martin's War for Southern Independence websites great or what? A descendant of Capt. Merriman Pound of Co. H/43rd MS Infantry contacted me recently and asked if I knew where the good captain is buried. I couldn't answer the gentleman's questions, so I am turning to this wonderful board for help! Capt. Pound died in Lee County, MS, ca. 1891 and may be buried with/near his beloved wife, Sally. Any leads or info much appreciated by both me and his proud descendant! And, as always, any stray 43rd MS info (esp. manuscript!) that you may have or may have run across would be immensely appreciated! Thanks! -- Jim Huffman, Co-Historian, 43rd MS Inf.
