Hi Debra,I descend from this John Morris.I have worked on this family for 15yrs and I have hit a brick wall.I know he married Mary E.last name?She is burried in Coxberg cementry Ms.Then he married Elizabeth(Parthenia)Shuttlesworth.I don't know where.She Lizzy was married to William Ralf Wilson they had two boys Ralfuss Reddick and Ruffus Wallace.I also have John's parents.John and Rebbeca they all were in Holmes Co.Ms.John Morris and his brother Elias Gilbert both served in the civil war,i have both of their papers.How are you related to John?When he married Lizzy they had Maebelle,Ivy,Hallie and my grandfather John Jordon Morris.I am very interested in what you have.I hope have not confused you.I have never found anyone who is a direct line with John.Thank you for your post on this web.Please contact me at missyrmt@yahoo.com.
