B_____, N.M. E 45th Miss, should be Newton M. Brown, pvt, enrolled 25 March 1862 at Corinth, 9 Oct 1862, left sick at Harrodsburg, KY; captured 10 Oct 1862 at Harrodsburg and exchanged 12 Nov 1862 at Vicksburg on steamer "Metropolitan" (age 35; 5'9") returned to duty Mar/Apr 1863, killed 19 Sept 1863 at Chickamauga, Roll of Honor Battle of Chickamauga

Chap___, H.M. B 13th Miss probably Hugh M. Chapman, Co B, 13th Miss

Merrill, __ Sgt. A 45th Miss Frank B. Merrill, pvt/1st Sgt, enrolled 15 May 1862 at Corinth; captured 31 Dec, 1862 at Murfreesboro, Tenn, returned to duty Mar/Apr 1863; on list of officers promoted for Valor and Skill dated 10 Sep 1863 (to 2nd Lt); killed 19 Sept 1863 at Chickamauga

Milton, J.B. -- 32nd Miss probably J.B. Milton, Co B, 32nd Miss

McCutcheon, J. A. -- 41st Miss probably J.A. McCutchen, Co L, 41st Miss

Rogers, __ K 44th Miss probably D.H. "Hatch" Rogers, Co K, 44th Miss killed at Atlanta, July 22, 1864

White, W. -- Miss. a long shot, but could be Elisha W. Whitehead, Co K, 44th Miss, killed at Atlanta, July 22, 1864
