John George Lipford

John George ("George") LLipford was born in Chester District, S.C. ca 1834/35; served first in H/24 S.C. as a 4 SGT, but was discharged for disability 23 Jun 62. He reenl in B/4 S.C. CAV 22 May 63, and was transferred to K/Hampton Legion Mounted Infantry 6 May 64. He was paroled mounted at Appomattox. Lipford married Charlotte Rooks in neighboring Laurens Distict, S.C. 23 Apr 66, and moved later to Mississippi. He died somewhere in Mississippi 10 Sep 1876, according to the pension application of Charlotte some years later, when she was living in Florida. Can anyone help me with any details of Lipford's life in Mississippi, and where he may be buried?
