At least two Gillintine's served from Itawamba County in the 43rd, 1st Sergeant John C. Gillintine and Thomas Henry Gillintine.
I'd recommend you contact Mr. Jim Huffman, a regular contributor here, if you are a descendant of this family.
Also, one W.T. Gillentine served in Company F, 2nd Mississippi Infantry Regiment (Davidson's Army of 10,000). I think this unit was also raised in Itawamba County.
