Searching for informatino on my great grandfather, Wiley Martin. Wiley was born in Barnwell County, SC about 1834 to Joseph Hawkins and Elizabeth Bates Martin and lived there thru the 1850 census. He next was in Emanuel County, GA on the 1860 census. He had a wife and two sons listed on the 1860 census. Next, he is in Michigan City, Benton County, MS in 1872 where he married my great grandmother, Susan Jefcote (Jeffcoat) and had four more sons. They disappear from the census records after 1880. I have papers were they leased farm land during that time frame and were cotton farmers. Since he passed away in Mississippi, I was hoping that someone might have some information on him. There were at least 2 or 3 Wiley Martin's from that same general area in Ga and I don't know what his middle name was.

I would greatly appreciate any information anyone could share with me.
