I am looking for information re my G/G grandfather and G/G/G grandfather. David McMurry joined CSA in MS, but no information available. Pinkney Euphrates McMurry (Freight, PE or McMurphy,McMurray in some other census records) has the following on his tombstone: Elkins CO, Reaves, MISS INF, CSA. If anyone can guide me to records for either, I 'd appreciate it. David was married to Lizzie Nichols.
