This message is just an update. The man we are probably looking for was from the Co B/C "Natchez Southrens" 10th Miss. from Adams County, later Co. C 9th Battn. Miss. Sharpshooters (June 1862)and later (Mar. 1864)Co. K 12th Tenn. Cav. US captured in Nov. 1864. Probably hung as deserter. Records indicate he possibly switched sides more than once. He was listed as a deserter from the Cavalry as an enlisted man, but came back as a Lt.
