Re: Wirt Adams / Battle of Raymond

I was actually hoping to glean some information on the units fighting rearguard for Gregg at the Battle of Raymond. This part of the fight has been neglected by history ... for instance, you won't find one account of the battle that points out Gregg's rearguard action was being undertaken by, essentially, a brigade of cavalry:

50 men of Mississippi State Cavalry Company
300 men of 3rd Kentucky Mounted Infantry
450 men of 20th Mississippi Mounted Infantry
800 men of Wirt Adams' Cavalry
=================
~1600 men

I would like to see some personal accounts of the 20th Mississippi Mounted Infantry and Wirt Adams Cavalry describing what roles the different units, Confederate and Union, played during the rearguard action.
